had a reunion with the college barkada - neil, jet, katzky, angel and jet - last saturday. long overdue!! i last saw them two years ago at our graduation.

we went to ms kat's abode. she was expecting us to visit her home since they had it blessed.. but because of our schedules, we haven't had the time. her mom cooked for us!! well... that's what she wanted us to believe - that we're her special friends and made her mom cook just for us - but really, it a reunion of sorts as well for her mom and relatives (she just got back from canada). but oh well, the food was super delicious! her mom's cooking rocks!! ^_^

met with angel and neil at around 10am at munoz. and for once i arrived last. hahaha!! i always seems to arrive first and wait for others, but yeeey! then we went to mark's house at bulacan. his house is close to where kat's house is, and she isn't home at that time yet - around 12. kat had to buy plane tickets to bora with her mom and instructed us to just drop in at around 2pm. we hang out and ate at mark's. and yeah... the food here is super delicious as well... since mark is a chef and all! yes. a chef. hahaha. his kitchen stories are so cool!! they were like cooking with stuff that only you can see at iron chef. hahaha. enjoyed it really.

then after all the kwentuhan and kamustahan we headed out for kat's house. we had to take a jeep and then a tricycle. well... haha! we didn't need a tricycle, we could have just walked... but er... we'll be lost. ^_^ anyway, the tricycle fare was a rip off since really, it just a short short distance!!

jet met us at kat's house. his house is so much closer there so he went directly. and as i remembered kat was her usual bubbly self and outshone the rest of the guys in the kwentuhan. ^_^ i was laughing mad at her anecdotes.

we had the dinner after the kwentuhan... afterwhich we took lots of pictures and took off. we decided to let the family have their time. ^_^

it was such a nice day!! ^_^

my weekend should have been fully booked.

this saturday, should have been the grand reunion of my HS barkada - gerina, barbie, celeste, nina and joyna. it didn't push through as nina had some emergency drafting/sketching she needs to do for her work - stat! so that went down the drain. we had been planning this for a over month and because of some evil force out there, it didn't happen.

i wanna see them so badly. it had been ages since i last saw them. i was still in college the last time we met. we have a lot of catching up to do. well, i hope sometime soon this reunion happens.

and then tomorrow, sunday... the office clique should be going on a field trip to tagaytay!! and yeah, we had planning about this since the beginning of the year... and because of yet another evil force at work, something prevented our van and driver provider to be unavailable for tomorrow. T.T

since a lot of the gals were so excited by the tagaytay trip, the lot of us opted to go to star city today... but since we're talking of bad luck here... the sun decided to play hooky. it looked like it was going to rain, and hey... it wouldn't be fun at star city if it was raining... so we had that plan cancelled as well.

therefore, i'm stuck at home. i wanna say stuck at home miserable but, i really am not. hahaha! i've been watching house and there's a coupla movies i wanna watch. ^_^ and besides, nothing beats the good news of my being promoted and a little increase!! yippee!!

yesterday, me and val participated in a badminton tournament. it was an all girls event as a salute to the international women's day celebration. on our way to the yonex courts, we managed to get lost. i thought val knew where we were supposed to go, but... she was directionally challenged (much like someone i know!! hahaha). so we managed to get scolded by mmda 2 times because of jay walking - thankfully they didn't reprimand us or something. the other one was shaking his head in disbelief that we jay walked while the other one was cool about it. he was even helpful when we asked for directions.

anyway, val's landmark was puregold. unfortunately... there were two puregolds - one was going to the north and one was going to the south. she can't remember which one was which. so we had to call up our friend sheila who was already at the courts to ask for directions. we finally got it right and made our way with haste as we were about to be late.

we made it in time and registered for the event. we got free shirts - which was colored purple and white. it was so cool!

anyway, we had so much fun! we even managed to win the first round of the tournament. Hehehe. our opponents were sheila and mae, which are good friends of ours, so it was really more of a friendly competition. the game lasted three seta. we lost the first set but proceeded to win the next two. so there! ^_^

after the game we went to puregold to buy some water and snacks as our next game would be in 1 hour. after stuffing ourselves full, we took some pictures and well, we took some pictures! hahaha. the second round of the tournament, was well less fun than the first round since it was a mismatch in my opinion. me and val were massacred!!! combine our scores from the first and second sets would not even amount to ten. that's how good our opponents are. the shuttle cock just went zooming past our heads!! whoooo! i wanna be like that in the near future too!! so i guess lots of practice for me. ^_^

after the second round of the tournament, we still have a third and last match. we opted to skip that one since we also registered for the tarot reading classes at 1pm. if we didn't make it to the class our salary will be deducted 2K+ for the fee for the class.

the tarot reading class was so enjoyable! our facilitator, rosanne araneta, is such a cool girl. she knows her stuff, she's very funny and her anecdotes are hilarious. reading the tarot cards are easy. they have specific meaning in them... you just need to memorize it and everything. what's difficult is the story you need to come up with in conjunction with the meaning of the cards. and you need lots of intuition on this one to be able to come up with enlightenment or something.

i don't think i can read cards for other people, i just don't have the natural flair to make stories about other people. hahaha. val, though had so much fun because she has the flair. she can make stories up. and she's good. maybe she can make a living out of it. hahaha. just kidding. anyway, kimmy also has troubles like me and she said she'll just have to resort to having her cards read at quiapo. ^_^

OMG!!! Nadal didn't make it to the finals but.... Djokovic did!!! Yaaaaay!! And he defeated Roger Federer along the way!! ^_^ Yayyy! Take the AO Novak!!

Ehem. Now that I've let that out.... let's get down to the updates.

My tito and tita had already left and by the time I post this up, they'll be happily reunited with their very cute apos - the triple K. I'll miss them so, since I'll see them again in a couple of years. huhuhuhu. T.T

Kuya Jon followed them a day after... He's a seaman and he's uhm, bound for the sea?? hehehe. Anyway, I'll miss Yvonne and Yasmin since I'll be seeing them so rarely now that their papa's away. I've gotten used to their presence every weekend and it'll be strange not looking forward to their visits.

At work, I'm back on bench. Haay. Yeah!! the dreaded bench. I'm amusing myself by following the live update of the scores in AO and reviewing and 'studying'. And my manager surprised me! I barely talk to him and I have this idea that he doesn't know me. But anyway, he asked for my aim from a colleague... and to my surprise he chatted me up. Well not really chatted, but that he just ask me something... like if i had knowledge in workflow... I said that I do, and that's it.

I'm hoping that he asked me that because I'm being considered for a project or that he will enroll me at a workflow bootcamp. Either way is fine with me. I'm really getting bored at bench....

the tennis bug bit me! hahaha. the australian open is on-going and i'm rooting for henin and nadal! yaaay!!

haven't watched any matches - yet. since i'm at the office when its shown on tv. but i am updated... thank you internet! ^_^

anyway, been surfing as usual, and i've seen this clip. it's so funny!! novak does impressions of other tennis players and it's so hilarious!! and because he's such a character, i'm rooting for him as well!! he's so funny. i think he'll soon eclipse nadal as my favorite male player!! ahahaha. and i do change my mind so often. ^_^

i'm stressed. i really am.

spent the whole day with the b-day girl today! we ran some errands first, went to national bookstore and fully booked to look for that damned-out-of-stock-in-every-store 'golden compass' book, ate lunch at mongkok? mongalian something? (thanks for the treat karen), watched national treasure, which i think we both loved, hunted for some clothes for karen and lastly ate merienda at the coffee beanery.

anyway! i loved the movie. action packed and hilarious at times. riley poole is the best!! hehehe. ^_^ and the treasure hunting and the supposed secret maps and whatnot are always interesting. so the movie is an A+ for me.

i'm getting really frustrated with the book. huhuhu. i wanted to read the golden compass badly... haaays. i hope they'll be stocking up real soon. i ended up buying another dean koontz book, which is 'fear nothing'. i'm almost finished with the american gods... and i wanted to read more books! hehehe. i am re-finding my love for reading books.

i should have been harping about this last week... but since i was soooooo preoccupied with playing... i wasn't able to write about it here. hahaha. ^_^

got myself a psp!! at last!! wooohooo!! i bought an ice silver colored one at sm north cyberzone. i was supposed to buy at greenhills... but my friends at the office scared me. they told me that some of the parts were replaced so they can sell it cheap. soo there. since i got, i just can't seem to stop playing. hehehe. my precious 8 hours of sleep were cut down to 7 or 6... depending on how exciting the game was. hehehe. ^_^

xmas parties all around!!! i had to celebrate about 3 xmas parties at the office. one was the project based xmas party, one was the company wide xmas party and the barkada xmas party. my funds are in critical condition right now because of all the exchange gifts and other misc. items that needed to be bought (eg. clothes, shoes etc) hahahaha!!

anyway, i just have this inkling that i will be stuck at the project that i'm in right now. arrrgh. we heard that they will be expanding and will be needing new people. lots of new people. i was really skeptical about it. i mean, i'm still skeptical about it. i mean they have resources there - example: me - but they don't use them!!! meaning... this past few weeks i've been doing bench time at their project despite the fact that they've extended our stay there and being chargeable at that.

i've got no issues about staying there... only that they SHOULD put me in the abap or workflow team... and that they should utilize me. hahaha. i'm really, really willing and eager to work... its just that... they won't give me work!! hahahaha. anyway. since i've got nothing to do, i've been helping my friend janice with her work. it's rewarding since i'm also learning something new while helping her. ^_^

i'm gonna rant about the unfairness of project assignment and whatever in this post.

first of all, i should have been rolled off last monday at the current project that i'm in. but i didn't receive an email stating otherwise so i stayed put at where i was. wednesday came and i had an annual review with my manager. we talked at how my career was progressing and where i would want to be by the end of the next performance year.

well, first things first, i told my manager that i just want to be chargeable and not stay as an apprentice any longer. he seconded the motion as he wanted all resources to be on a project, chargeable by the end of the year. he promised me that by next week, i'm gonna be in a project. and that it was 'sure ball' because he handles said project and that he can tip me in. and i was so happy by the end of our little discussion that nothing can burst my bubble.

until thursday came. we were informed by the other manager that we will be extended for three weeks more in his project because he got something for us to do. acccck. i'm so not happy with it. i have no problems whatsoever with the people there or whatever... but dude... they assigned almost nothing tasks to us. for our 2 months duration of stay there, the work they gave us was well... could be done in what?? 3 weeks?? i was bored outta my mind there.

anyway, i'm just hoping that they really have some tasks for us to do for the 3 weeks extension. we will be moved to the testing team... and i have a vague idea on what it does... and it just speaks monotony to me. haaaaay. >.<

anyway... i'm still crossing my fingers that it's just a temporary thing and that we'll be somewhat busy in that 3 weeks and that they move us to another project after that. XD

anyway... i'm so drooling over the psp. i want one!!!! i really, really want one!! haaaay. next week i'm gonna get myself that psp. wheeeeeeee... XD

me and my friend val, went to greenhills yesterday. we canvassed for a w810i phone, which she wanted to buy and i canvassed for the psp. it's agood thing we were persistent with the canvassing because we found a great deal for her phone and for the psp.

since i know about 3 more people who want to buy the psp, i postponed it for next week so we could buy it together... we were hoping that if many of us buys it at the same time... maybe they'll give us a discount or more freebies... hehehe. i'm so excited!!!

i was reviewing my entries and i noticed that 'soccer' had been the ongoing theme. hahaha. but! i won't be talking about that in this entry. ^_^

halloween at the office was so much fun! some of the employees brought their kids along so that they could go trick and treating around the office. we had to buy treats for the children at the last minute since the advisory was also.... last minute. hahahaha. i loved the kids in their costumes!! hands down, my favorite was a boy wearing a spiderman costume. he was so cute, chubby and so terribly cuddly!! *sighs*

we also played bowling after work hours! wheeee. it was so much fun... hahaha! probably we found it fun because it was free. hahaha. i didn't hit a strike but i did down 101 pins in one game. woohooo!! ^_^ oh, the other players there were so good, they made us feel like imbeciles. hahaha!! they were hitting strikes one after the other... well... they should... they are competing for the bowling tournament so...

kimmy was so flustered because of all the good players that she didn't play for another game. since me and val are thick-skinned.... hahaha! we played 1 more game. the others in our start group came in a little late, so they opted to play for the free billiards instead. a lot of people had already occupied the free lanes so there.

yesterday, we went to angat to visit the graves of my lolo and tita. hehehe. every time we get there it seems like fiesta! a lot of people were loitering around and there are a lot of stalls selling food and what not. and i saw ukay ukay too! tsk. tsk. hehehe.

to pass the time me, obri and my dad played tong its. ^_^ i think i don't have the talent in playing cards.... they wiped out my coin purse!! huhuhuhu. daddy won... we got our doubts because he was known for cheating! hahahaha!! ^_^ he laughed us off and said that we were sour graping. ^_^

anyway... PSP!! i really want to buy. but i think i have to postpone... T.T i just paid kuya my share for the desktop he bought and! i have to pay for the repairs for my laptop and!! i have to finance obri's seminar for IV's... *sighs* maybe before christmas... T.T

amazing race!! yehey!!! on monday amazing race starts! finally!! oooh. trailers... i watched one more chance trailer on tv... i think i wanna watch it. john lloyd-bea plus maja!! wooohooo.

last friday, was the start of the billiards and bowling tournament for our sapfest. since a lot of our start group friends are part of the tournament, we decided to watch. trich and teki were good! they advanced to the quarter finals in billiards. too bad that jop, jp and golds didn't make it. and our team in bowling advanced to the quarter finals as well! so yey!!

me and val got tired of watching, so we decided to play bowling ourselves. hahaha. i guess i lack practice because i kept getting 'canal'. hahahaha! i talk as if i am good. but... hahaha!! anyway.. after the billiards and bowling tournament, the rest of our start group wasnt ready to go home just yet, so we played another round of bowling. hahaha. it was so much fun!! though our team lost... by just a small fraction mind you... everyone went home feeling happy and fulfilled.

and then after much delay... the football league had finally kicked off!! yehey!!!

we had our first match last saturday. we were up against the IO Kumanders, another beginner team like us. anyway, our match was scheduled at 1pm. should have been very hot... but because of fine weather conditions (it just stopped raining)... there wasn't much sun. ^_^ which was good!!

anyway... let's cut to the chase. hahaha!! we won!! by default. Hahahaha!! ^_^ our opponents didn't show up. so we won. after playing a friendly match with another team who won by default, we took pictures! lotsa pictures. hahaha. even though we were dripping sweat all over the place, everyone was game taking pictures. ^_^

ps... i using my new desktop! yehey!! now all i need to do is have my laptop fixed... oh my poor, poor budget...

the supposed start of the company's football league should have happened weeks and weeks ago. but because of poor weather conditions, continuous rains and whatnot we still haven't kicked off yet. the excitement is completely gone and everyone from the gold diggers team is feeling frustrated. I do hope that we get to start soon, but from the looks of it, we can't commence this week as it's still raining. T.T

anyway!! you should all watch Stardust! its a great and very entertaining movie. its lighthearted, enchanting and funny... very funny. and i do love the story's hero! he's so cool!! ^_^ michelle pfeifer is very good in this movie!! hehehe. anyway, i recommend that you watch it!

also, i've got something to do at the office! hehehe. bench hours are finally over! i've got myself a project! hehehe. so far i've been coping with the tasks asigned to me and i'm slowly getting used to using my brain again! hahaha. though its such a shame that my playing pokemon games are over. hahaha! ^_^

its also been a bit hectic as they are giving extra training during lunch period. we're to supposed to sit down with the senior buddies and have them give us a knowledge transfer session. accck. its great and all that but i'm missing time with my friends. lunch break is the only time i get to spend with them... so. T.T

Hehehe. yesterday was busy day for me. morning, me and the family set out for bulacan, my dad's hometown. he wanted to see how the repairs for their house were going and was invited to attended a bday party there. we didn't stay there all that long since i asked them that i needed to be home at around 3pm. i told them before hand that i shouldn't come, but well... they insisted so we just zoomed all over angat!! hehehe.

anyway, the reason i needed to be home at around 3pm was because i nodded to a soccer practice game last thursday. i could't - wouldn't - back out of it. i wanted to play!! hehehe. they held the practice games at meralco compound in ortigas. since i don't know how to go there, i hitched a ride with a friend there. we met at boni. supposed to be the meeting time was at 5pm. but since it's filipino time... we left boni at 6pm. ^_^

there were so many people at meralco compound!! there was a sports fest of sorts there held by another company. so the locker rooms were jam packed. dressed super fast because the soccer games were beginning!! anyway, half the gold diggers team were able to make it, so we were able to pratice a bit. its a good thing that one of our members is an experienced player, so she was able to discuss the rules and whatnot of the game. we practice basic stuff first. like passing and shooting.

we weren't able to practice with the team that much because we were called to play the actual game. it was coed since it was open field playing time. playing was so much fun!! although it was tiring, it was really rewarding. hehehe. and not to mention that our team won the match!! oh well, our strikers were really good! :D

i'm looking forward to more games and practices!! woohooo!!

wheeee. i took a vacation leave this thursday and friday. this leave was supposed to be for my daddy's return home. but my daddy won't be due to come back til wednesday and i can't adjust the leave i already filed. haaaay. if we'd only known the exact day he'd return then i could have scheduled more properly.

anyway! had a nice two day vacation. ^_^ did nothing but rest, eat and sleep! hehehe. don't know why, but i always feel like i lack sleep... even though i usually sleep for 8 hours. hahaha. i'm such a sleepwhore. wahahaha.

ooooh. i caught myself talking while asleep!! i was dreaming that i was angry at my brother james for putting my bag down on the floor which was full of colorful bugs. of course, the bugs got in my bag - hence me getting so pissed off. 'sana inurong mo na lang' was the phrase i said aloud. i wasn't sure if i said it aloud or not since i'm still groggy and probably still engrossed in my dream. aubrey confirmed it to me. hahaha. she even laughed at me!!

fy07 just ended. and because of that... they get to evaluate our performances thus far at the office. sat down with one of the managers as she discussed my performance rating with me. hye... she made me wait for 15 mins! she apologized and explained that she forgot all about it. T.T
anyway, our discussion lasted for all of 2 mins. she just gave me my rating and explained how they got about it. she was kind of in a hurry. i mean, she was really in a hurry. hahaha. i've waited longer than the actual mtg.

oooh!! i also joined a company sponsored soccer team!! wooohooo!! hehehe. the company sponsors sports events - basketball season is over and soccer season is here. there'll be several teams and i'm part of the Gold Diggers team! Hehehe. it was a spur of the moment decision. i knew i wanted some exercise... and what better way to achieve it, right?!! wahahaha. well. i prolly wouldn't join anyway if several friends didn't join as well. that's part of the fun. ^_^

Anyway, I'm downloading the rest of the available episodes as of the moment. I've stopped watching as well, because nanay wanted to watch it with me. She thought it was funny and had asked me to burn it so that we could watch it together. Hehehe. Karen's influence is amazing!! ^_^

Aubrey celebrated her birthday last friday, which means I get to stuff my face full with cake, ice cream and spaghetti. hehehe. birthdays are the best!!

I'm getting addicted playing family computer games all over again! hahaha. I've been given emulators and if I wasn't watching what I should, I'm playing. ^_^ adventure island's the best. although its been giving me lots of trouble. i'm on area 8 already and its getting immensely difficult. hehehe.

It's raining!! Hay. It's been extra hard going to work. What with the rain and the traffic. And it's so hard waking up every morning! The cold weather makes me want to sleep in.

Anyway, last wednesday, I was so hyped up for work - well I was more awake than I am in other days, so that means I'm hyped!! XD Anyway, I left home for work and when I reached MRT I was shocked! A lot of people were waiting for bus rides... and the people who lined up for the MRT ride seems to go on forever!! I don't know what to do. If I hitched on a bus, I'd be standing up til I got off at Boni. If I wait on MRT I'll prolly get at the office at what? around lunch?

Since I'm walking back and forth towards the area... I got my pants all dirty with the mud, I'm partially wet from the rain and I'm pissed. So the next best thing? Hahaha. I just went home!! Hahaha. Take that. Anyway. It seems that I'm not the only one who hadn't made it to work. A lot of my friends and peeps at the floor didn't make it as well.

I thought there would be a repeat performace this friday since the rain is still falling. Good thing that when I left home, the rain took a break and went back with a vengeance once I'm safe inside the office. Haaaay.

If I'm still in school, I would have welcomed the rain. Because it means no classes!!! ^_^ but since I'm working now, haaay. T.T

We're supposed to go to megamall today to buy obi's gift - for her birthday. but because of the bad weather... maybe we'll go on monday instead. XD

anyway, went to grand central with obi to buy new 'office' shoes. my old ones look like it needed to rest in peace already. XD found something within reasonable price. so i got me new ones today.

hmmm. yesterday they moved us up at 22nd floor from 11th. and my shift has changed as well. our call time would be at 10am to 730pm. hmmm. i like my new place. i'm near the window!! hehehe. its such a shame though that me, sheila and patrich didn't end up as cube mates. waaaaah. after 3 months of being in the same cube we've grown so close with each other and it feels awkward not seeing them nearby. hay. they're what?? 2 to 3 cubes away... but that'll have to do, i guess. we are still in the same floor anyway. ^_^

anyways. haay. i'm getting really frustrated with my sister obi. gah. she's just... oooh, i don't know. i'm just getting really, really irritated and if she doesn't stop, i'm gonna get pissed.

hmmm. how should i say this... hmmm. it's like she doesn't feel me...we're not on the same wavelength. so what interests me doesn't interest her and vice versa. anyway... it's just getting on my nerves how she would look patronizing when i'm talking to her (i do try to get along with her by making small talk but...) and i hate it how she makes me feel stupid. even though i know what i'm talking about. its just in the way she responds or doesn't.

gaaaaah. and i hate it. if she doesn't want to talk to me fine. i'm not gonna talk to her either. hmp.

and i shall call me and my cronies... team bonding!! wahahahaha. my cronies? james, obi and nanay. everytime there's a huge movie to be shown, expect that the four of us will watch it together. i want nanay to get a chance to watch the big movies since that's all we could really do to cheer her up and what not. and besides, i want to spend sometime with my siblings since we really don't see much of each other these days.

the last movie that we watched was 'at world's end'. so team bonding watched the 'order of the phoenix' today. and it would not have been possible if not for my kuya leo's funding. i'm a little low on cash, since my mother asked for a specific amount of money for my monthly chip-in help... so my budget's really, really tight. my budget can only accommodate for one more person to see the movies with.

my kuya heard about it, and... *tears up* he gave us money to pay for the movies, so that i only have to pay for our meal. thank you, kuya!!

anyway. hehehe. won't be giving much a review for the movie yet... just in case some of you haven't seen it yet, cough kitsune_me cough. hehehe. but i do love luna, bellatrix and of course ron!!! ^_^

nanay loved the movie but was asking me all the while for questions and confirmation. james absolutely adored lord voldemort. and aubrey was drooling at the look of dan as usual.

this is my second time watching the movie. i was much more relaxed watching the movie today than i had last wednesday. would you believe that a guy kept on kicking the back of my chair???! from the beginning of the movie to its closing scene, he was f&^@%ng-kicking-it!! i kept giving him my most evil eye. and yet, he continued kicking it. grrrr. i really want to tell him off, but since everytime i try to make contact, he's either texting or talking real loud with his friends. Ugggh.

i really wanted to make even, so when the movie ended and we were all going down, i made sure that he was just behind me. and then in the loudest voice i could summon, i whined to my friends, how 'a stupid guy kept kicking the back of my chair and how he had no consideration whatsoever!! and that he's lacking manners!!'. and i suppose he heard it. he had gone quiet. hmmmp. >.< i hope he really heard it.

anyway, back to my story.

last saturday, i had my chocolate making classes at maya culinary experts in makati. i took the class with vally and maffy.

the three of us met up in lrt, and as per usual, vally kept us waiting. hehehe. something's just so wrong with her timing i guess. ^_^ anyway, when she arrived, we immediately hopped in the train as we only have another 45 mins to spare. we arrived at gil puyat ave and took a cab. nobody knew the exact place and since the three of us would chip in, the cab's fair really a cinch.

gawd, the taxi driver we had seems like someone who had just lost his marbles. we were kinda scared with how he was acting... he was rolling down his window and screaming at people who crossed the path of his taxi... and he was playing with the cab's lock system!! omg. really we were such in a hurry to get out of the cab that we gave him a kinda big tip. mind you that the tip wasn't really from the bottom of our hearts. XD

and then the choco making class was so much fun!! we had four recipes... caramel choco coated truffles, white choco surprise, rhumballs and fruit filled truffles. and we had to decorate a cake too.

after about 30 mins of discussion, the instructor grouped us into 4 groups. it was a good thing that maffy, vally and i were still on the same group. anyway, we had three other gals with us. we decided to split the recipes up. me, vally and maffy made the caramel choco coated truffles and the fruit filled ones. the other two recipes were made by the other members of the group.

anyway, when it was being demonstrated... it looks very easy!! but when we were doing it ourselves.... ACK!!! such a hard job!! the choco keeps melting and we hadn't had the skills to make the caramel harden!!!

but oh well... we still had plenty of choco to take home. the six of splitted our loot and we took home 2 boxes each. the family told me that the choco was delicious... i hadnt had a taste since i was feeling sick. i had the cough and colds and i'm feeling that i'll be down with the flu.

knowing the i couldn't get home safely, i called my kuya leo up to ask if he could pick me up. he immediately said yes... thank you kuya!!! ^_^

anyway, i'm right as now i'm down with the flu. waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. T.T
i'm feeling so bad!!

anyway, a bright spot in the day... i got an email from the company stating my permanency!! woohoooo.


hehehe.

and i thought the graduation saga was over. gah.

went over to the registrar yesterday to fix the mess the school has created over the release of the diploma. joanne, the new registar head, was a very kind and accomodating girl. i can see it in her efforts that she wants to help each and every one of the students present yesterday at her office.

i got in at around 9 am. and i thought i would finish soon. since joanne accomodated me immediately and went about to sort out what the problem is. so she pulled out my records and showed me that my diploma still lacks one signature and that the auditing team claims that i still had some requirements missing. problem is, i am not in the official list of the auditees with defects - which means we have absolutely no idea what it is the audit is looking for.

joanne, bless her, being the kind girl that she is, divided her attention to all the students in her office. which means that after telling me what we need to do, left me to my own devices for about and 1hr and a half before she can finally continue assisting me. so after so much boredom, she got to me and told me that i needed to print out my student's ledger and get it back.

OMG. I waited for hours on end just to be told that i needed to do something that takes only a minute long. *pulls hair out* anyway, after i handed her the printed copy she proceeded to tell me that she'll forward the diploma again to audit but warned me that the diploma will come back again unsigned but at least we'll have a list of my defects - if they could find one. grrrr. i completed my requirements damn it!!! anyway, she instructed me to call again on wednesday or friday to check on the progress.

anyway, after all the drama at the registrar i went to kitsune_me's house. *starts tearing up* she has an ebil dog. i thought choco was lovely... but he was mean to me!!!!! *wails*

hehehe. after dashing inside her house, she let me watch Kyou Kara Mao while she takes a bath. hehehe. i think i'll be hooked on that one. Wolfram's very pretty!!! XD

then we went to trinoma to watch rat-ta-too-ee... but was intimidated by the long-ass-line. we agreed to just watch at the block and to my dismay... the rat movie isn't on yet. so we watched fantastic four instead. hehehe. an enjoyable movie. since i love ben and johnny.... and sexy jessica alba!!! ^_^

hahaha. can't help myself so i dragged karen to eat crepes with me. she had the peaches thing and as usual i ordered something that has a banana in it. XD and the after the movie we went to comic alley and i agonized on which naruto set to buy.

i loved both sets. one was the shippuuden thingie... too bad that the only one i liked on the set was naruto and sakura (it came with kakashi, iruka and lee) and the other one was pre-shippuuden era. i picked the later one... i fell in love with hinata and neji's yin yang poses (it came with naruto sasuke and itachi kisame - who looks like a surfer dude). ^_^ anyway, can't wait til monday so i can show them off. hehehe.

then we ate at tender bob's. waaaah. didn't enjoy since my tummy was acting up. T.T took pictures with karen. yehey!!!

anyway, besides my tummy acting up, i had a really enjoyable day!! hehehe.

Grrrrr. Damn school. I swear they have something against me. *wails*

I thought that after two months of patiently waiting for my diploma to be ready, I would get it at moment's notice. After all, that's what the registrar told me during my last trip there.

Imagine my ire when I called this morning for a follow up. It still wasn't ready!! >.<

They said that it HAD come back from audit but my name wasn't listed in THE LIST of finished audits but my diploma said it was already CHECKED. So now what???

The girl, Joanne, told me that since my name wasn't on the official list, they had to send it back to audit. And that I need to personally be there on Saturday so we could ready the requirements together and then send it to audit AGAIN.

They can't explain to me what happened, and why this happened. I mean, come on!! How careless can they get?! Grrr. I'm really starting to get seriously frustrated about this. It's just too bad that Joanne seemed really helpful and seemed like she wanted to sort my problem out that I failed to use my INTIMIDATE tactics. hehehe. ^_^ oh well, some other time maybe. Maybe when I'm really, really, really pissed...

At work, we had it easy at around 3pm til end of day since we lost internet connection. Can't do anything without the internet. So we just ate and gossiped around. Wheeeeeeee. XD I'm becoming adept at cooking pansit canton and instant spaghetti using the microwave. ^_^ Peeps there like their noodles... *shrugs* and I'm becoming used to it too.

Looking forward to our Transformers movie nights. Saw the trailer and it seems really good! I like the robots. And there's a hot guy. hehehe. ^_^ I also want the rat-ta-too-ee movie.... don't know if I can drag someone with me to the movies though....

And by golly!!!!!!!!!!!! Pottermania!! Ogling the posters like mad. There's plenty on EDSA. I think... there's maybe 4 or 5 along the MRT line. Wanna take one poster home with me - The one where their on broomsticks......... *sighs*
